Sarah K. Nelson, a specialist in financial valuation,
has joined the CPA and business advisory firm, Rucci, Bardaro &
Barrett, P.C. in Malden, MA as Senior Manager, the firm announced
today.
Previously, Nelson was a visiting research scholar
at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, where
she conducted research on the valuation of intangible assets and
human capital for the U.S. Department of Defense.
In 2001, Nelson founded the Center for Advanced
Valuation Studies in Chicago in partnership with the American Society
of Appraisers. She has also served as Director of Practice Development
for KPMG's Forensic & Litigation Services practice group in the
Midwest.
"Sarah's unrivaled expertise in the theory and
practice of valuation will add a new dimension to our firm's valuation
and litigation support service capabilities," said Paul Bardaro,

Nelson holds a graduate degree in business administration
from DePaul University in Chicago, and an undergraduate degree from
Randolph Macon Women's College in Lynchburg, VA.
